I Offer: Ability to communicate with clients in a professional manner. Good attitude, willingness to get my hands dirty, punctual, enthusiastic and resourceful. A second pair of hands, eyes and ears, hauler of equipment, maker of coffee, runner of errands. I offer these things in exchange for mentorship, knowledge, and exposure.


Bio/Experience: Started shooting in 1999, published photos in Seattle Magazine, Bark Magazine and won a photo contest to design the current debit card at Seattle Metropolitan Credit Union. The winning image is used on other marketing and promotional materials for the credit union and is displayed in my portfolio. Published photos on Mirabella Seattle's website and printed materials. Published in "Local Color: Images of the Pacific Northwest" a booklet showcasing the printing of Quality Press in Seattle and featuring the artwork of artists in the Pacific NW. Currently enrolled in the UW Extension evening Certificate Photography program (a 9 month intensive).


Work Background: My work background is in technology. I have done desktop support, training and network administration at the Woodland Park Zoo, Seattle Mental Health, and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and currently at the University Of Washington School Of Social Work, where I work half time.


Volunteer Experience:

Youth in Focus

o Mentored a young woman in digital photography and workflow.

Wallingford Sr. Center

o Taught a digital photography class.

Grameen Technology Program vis-a-vis NPower

(The Grameen Technology Center is an initiative of Grameen Foundation)

o Set up and configured 25 donated laptops for not-for-profit use.
o Installed SCSI HDD in their server, partitioned, formatted, moved data, recreated shares.

Central Area Senior Center

o Teach basic computer skills, email, web browsing, and word processing skills.
o Moved network during construction so classes could continue.

Help Portrait

o Greet families for free portrait sessions for those who wouldn't otherwise get them.
